Environmental Policy
Telsis believes that its part in improving the richness of communications is helping reduce the need for travel, which in turn gives rise to an environmental benefit.
Telsis recognises that it has an impact on the environment through its activities and that all aspects of our business have a responsibility to ensure that any negative impact of our activities on the environment is minimised wherever possible.
To this end Telsis is committed to :
- implementation and maintenance of a programme of continual environmental improvement
- compliance with all the applicable environmental legislation and regulations and any other environmental obligations to which it has contracted.
- setting and reviewing of environmental targets and objectives.
- communication of the policy to persons working for and on behalf of Telsis
In support of this policy Telsis has established an Environmental Management System certified to ISO14001 that details the process for setting and reviewing environmental objectives and targets. The Environmental Management System is regularly reviewed for continued applicability and improved effectiveness.
