Telsis – the home of SMS innovation
Telsis believes that all mobile services should be compelling, available on every handset and deliver value to all who use them. It was on this basis that Telsis was founded in 1987 and since that day we have maintained a flexible approach in our ability to formulate and deliver services.
The evidence of our success using this approach is our track record – see our World Firsts page to find out more.
Innovation
Telsis innovations have changed the way messaging works, by inventing SMS Routers and with it Direct Delivery, legacy SMSC store and forward technology is no longer relevant. The fact that SMS can be delivered almost immediately has been a major factor in the phenomenal growth of SMS into a service that saw over 5 trillion messages delivered in 2009.
Telsis´ record of innovation continues with Smart Services – providing mobile users with an enhanced messaging experience that allows them to control how, when and where their messages are delivered to suit their needs.
Ubiquity
Telsis strongly believe that ubiquity is key to any messaging platform. The death or decline in SMS has been hailed for many years, but in reality SMS has gone from strength to strength. Key to this growth is the ability to send an SMS to any other handset with the knowledge that the message will be received.
Telsis keep ubiquity at the forefront of our designs to ensure that each service will interact with other phones, on other networks, and behave in a manner that is intuitive to the user.
Compelling
Each of the service offerings from Telsis have been researched to find out what is missing from the way in which today´s communications are provided, such as having the simple ability to change the way our messages are delivered, to having the ability to block messages that we do not wish to receive. Some of the concepts Telsis produce may be simple, but they are all compelling to those who want and need these services.
Virally Promoted
SMS was a virally promoted service. The mobile world didn´t see the huge success of SMS until it was happening and how it happened was from one user to the next. So why not use the same medium to virally promote other services?
Many Telsis services include the ability to provide branded messages to either your existing customers or their off-net contacts.
